Had a fabulous stay at the Atlantis Hotel, Jon&Craig were lovely & very welcoming. Rooms were clean & nicely decorated. Breakfast was served from 9-9.30 & was a great selection, cooked breakfast was fab. Will definitely be going back to stay again.

First of all I would like to say that the people giving bad reviews are absolutely off their head! It's a b&b not a 5* hotel! The room was clean and tidy, with clean WHITE towels. Bathroom was also clean with a lovely, powerful shower. There were also little chocolates on the bed which we thought was very thoughtful, the owners did not have to provide these. Breakfast was lovely; cereal, toast, tea, coffee, juice and a cooked breakfast were offered. Found the owners very friendly and they could not have been more welcoming. We were greeted by John when we arrived and after five minutes felt as if we had came to stay with friends, not in a b&b. We met Craig later who was equally as friendly. Both of them were happy to have a chat and were extremley helpful. An added bonus is the location. Everything is on the door step. But even if it was in a different location this would still be the place to stay! Had a lovely stay and we are very grateful for all the help. Thank you for a lovely weekend boys and hopefully see you again soon! Lucretzia and Jo xx

Stayed only one night to try out hotel for future breaks but wasn't greatly impressed although I have stayed in worse. I was allowed to book in though I arrived a bit early so grateful for that however I really dislike hotels that put what you can't do signs on entrance before you are even inside, don't tar everyone with the same brush. My single room was a very small basic single with non matching furniture, no chair, dated television, stains on wall and ceilining, faded bedding with only one flat pillow and a very old thin washed out towel.
However huge plus points for lovely fully tiled shower room with good shower, and good housekeeping standards throughout. Nice large dining room but would have liked to have seen fresh fruit or yoghurts avail, the breakfast though was very tasty and hot. The staff/owners seemed quite pleasant and appear to provide good enertainment for the guests that use the bar facilities etc. Return visit not for me personally but for there seem to be many who do so hopefully the hotel prospers.

hi there
i have read your review and im not surprised you have stayed in worse, at the rate you were charged we are a bed and breakfast not a 5 star hotel the reason we put one sign on the door stating that no takeaways allowed is to stop the rooms smelling of these that is not taring everyone with the same brush it is basically trying to let guests understand that this is my home and not everyone likes the smell of takeaways, also i really dispute the fact that the bedding is faded as i have only recently bought all this and would really like you to confront me with your issues however you maybe use to this where you come from as it is full of takeaways, the furniture in the room is matching so dont know what you are talking about and has been recently decorated, and as i said before we are not 5 star if we were you would have paid alot more than you did, so maybe you should in future check into the hilton, do you really expect me to supply fruit and yoghurts and the price you paid its a business not a charity, and we have very many happy customers from all over the world, people like you do not bother us, we are what we are a bed and breakfast not a 5 star purpose built hotel at budget prices.

i read some of the reviews of this place b4 a went and there was one person who said it was in need of refurbishment. what planet where these people on it was lovely, modern fittings and lovely friendly staff. could not find a single fault. Its true. You just can't please everyone.
The room was clean and fresh, shower was spacious (can be hard to find in a b+b) brew facilities were excellent and well stocked, nothing worse than not having enough milk for brew. Bar and resturant were lovely and welcoming, even with my child. most importantly the drink weren't expensive like some hotel's charge. Would have felt comfortable in there all night.
Location wise we could not have been closer to everything. with coral island, tussauds, sealife, beach and tower right next door.
Would highly recommend this place to friend and family and look forward to returning myself in the future.

My friends and I have just returned from a Friday-Sunday stay, in this depressing B&B. So read on as whatever you have already read about this place, is not the whole facts. It really is the most unpleasant place to stay. The room which we were allocated, for 3 persons, was too small, with no wardrobe to hand clothes only a metal shelf with a few coathangers. One tiny chest. The overall lighting in the room was dismal. The double wall socket which housed a multi gang switch, hung precariously, and although pat tested stickers were displayed it did not seem safe or reliable. When inserting a plug for our hair straightner ,it emitted a crackling sound so we decided to unplug the tv and the kettle, which we did notuse. The room housed one small radiator which gave a very inadquate amount of heat, in fact most of the stay it was off. The towels which should have been white were in fact grey! The floor covering was grubby, toilet brush disgusting and the overall cleanliness was the bare minimum. The Hotel Inspector should call in during sometime. House of Horrors more like.

Breakfast was 1/2 hour and were strictly governed by the owners, any chance of a 2nd glass of juice was not offered!

The landlord opened the door to us on the day of our arrival by "your too early". No hello, no welcome to Blackpool and not even a courteous smile. He did say we could leave our suitcases but please go away not to clutter up our very tiny non existant reception area.

We had to be out of our room by 10.30 on the Sunday and he allowed us to leave our suitcases down in the bar area until 12 noon. We then had to remove us and our cases until our bus home which was at 2pm.

So buyers beware if you are happy to take a plunge into an abyss then this is just up your street.

hi there having read your untrue review on trip advisor which is a load of rubbish you arrived at the hotel at 12 oclock so you obviously cant read a confirmation that was sent to you also you were moved rooms in-order to accommodate your friend at no time were you told this was a family room or told that the room would not be ready until 3 oclock, there is a hanging rail in the room for clothes to be hung on therefore no need for a full wardrobe which take up a lot of room, i also think that you will find that the carpet is less than 1 year old, also maybe if you pushed the plug into the socket properly and not left it hanging out, i also think that you will find that the towels were new creams towels, at the end of the day breakfast is served at the time you are told when you arrive which is 9.00am - 9.30 am as most hotels do in blackpool and if you choose to not come down until 09.28 thats your choice however we do have work to do and not wait on you after coming down at a stupid time breakfast is a adequate amount for anyone and do not have to be all you can eat, orange juice is topped up at all times as this is self service, thank god you have found another hotel as you would not be welcome back here, and you had the cheek to ask to leave your bags, which you did not collect until 2pm, if you are going to lie try and at least get your facts right also woman at your age trying to sneek men back at 3 am in the morning disgusting. we are a residents only hotel.
