“Good value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Very friendly and polite staff. Nice atmosphere. Quiet even at night. Simple room, but everything worked well and was clean. I have no complaints about our stay there. We got a good night sleep. Good value for family.

I've never been a fan of Travel Lodges, I've found them to be soulless and pretty much uninviting...........until last weekend.
We were welcomed with a huge smile from the receptionist, I visited with my Mum and 2 Sisters and we had a ball!! Our rooms were really big with great bathrooms, we did have disable access rooms because my Mother and one of my Sisters need those facilities. It was clean, fresh bed linen and quiet at night.
Breakfast was more than sufficient and well worth the £6.95, which we pre-paid when we booked the 3 nights.
The staff are superb here, can't praise them enough. Especially Joe & Mick (bar staff of an evening, also working at breakfast), they were full of friendly banter and advice on where to eat out, really lovely guys. Also Amy (I'm sure I've got that right), blonde Assistant Manager, professional & kind, so helpful and always made time to answer our questions and make sure that we were happy and comfortable.
Well done Travel Lodge, you have an amazing team at Blackpool South Shore, Absolutely every member of staff we came across had huge smiles and made us feel welcome.

First impression is the staff are all very nice but for £85 a night room looked clean but stains on the wall , the hall way going up and down the stairs was not clean and had the same bits of crisps the two days we had stayed the breakfast the croissant was stale ( not good ) but again staff very nice so when you think £85 for the room then you have to pay for 24hr parking its not that good value big question would I stay again.
NO !

Stayed here one night as had an appt at royal Victoria hospital which required me to go back the next day, with my mam and 2 daughters. Very friendly staff. No PowerPoint by the bed which nowadays is a must and breakfast wasn't anything special, basic room but other than that enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here Friday n Saturday night at the beginning of April. Hotel is clean, staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable so I can't really fault the place as somewhere to stay. The breakfast was pretty poor really, well at least the cooked part, I couldn't eat the sausages n the bacon was a bit rubbery. All in all I would stay here again..
