5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

Stayed at the beechfield the weekend before Christmas with my friend on a girly weekend.
Julie gave us a very warm welcome and made sure we got the weekend off to a brill start.
Thanks for a great stay Julie & gang.
Just rallying the troops for our next stay, which is imminent!!!!

We stayed at the Beechfield during the Christmas period. At first I was reluctant to leave our family home for the holiday, but as soon as Julie greeted us with a warm welcome at reception, I knew we would feel right at home. The staff were very thoughtful and caring and we appreciated the attention they paid to our children as well as us! Top marks to the chef too, the food was delicious and with many mouths to feed their efforts produced great results :)! The only complaint I would have regarding the restaurant would be that we were served by a male who was rather rude. Service with a smile, please!
A big thanks to Julie from myself and the family for all her hard work making sure our stay was nothing less than perfect. We will definitely be returning and recommend this hotel to all families looking for a lovely little break :)

A really friendly Hotel. Julie was most helpfull, and pulled out all the stops to accomadate My family at short notice when I was admitted into one of the local Hospital. My wife and daughter were unable to find anything to critisize during their shortstay all members of staff were extremely helpfull and very freindly nothing was ever too much bother.

We received a warm welcome from Julie and the rest of the crew at the Beechfield during our stay in November. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a nice atmosphere in the bar where we relaxed for a couple of drinks before heading out. Thanks for a great stay.

Large Victorian hotel with 60 plus bedrooms and super staff and a really friendly and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed as a family group of 7 ages ranging from 86 to 11 and we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute and wouldn't go anywhere else from now on. Couldn't believe how friendly and generous the staff were. Julie, Annie and all of the team are absolutely wonderful. Keith is the best bingo shouter / entertainer / cook and really helpful all of the time. Excellent and quick service with the full English breakfast, super evening meal and what a fantastic buffet they put on for the evening. Tea and coffee available all of the time and a specially brewed pot when we needed it. The rooms are freshened up each day and had a nice new en suite. During our stay over new year they had outstanding entertainment each night that would easily make finalists in Xfactor or BGT. The quizzes, competitions, bingo and other challenges reaped big rewards. Keep up the good work folks, we'll be back soon!

Room Tip: Downstairs rooms available adjacent to the bar which are good for wheelchair access.

we decided to be adventurous and visit Blackpool at christmas...Wow....we were booked in for 3 nights in the week leading to christmas 19th -21st dec. we were greeted with warmth and settled into our room, we then went to the bar for a "quiet drink" the atmosphere was wonderful, lots of guests milling about and everyone was so cheerfull. when we went down for our meal later that night we were pleased to see the restaurant was tastefully set out, the meal was lovely and the mince pie cheesecake!!!! what a pleasant change to christmas pudding! we had a really great stay and it put us in the christmas spirit.well done again Beechfield!
