“Long Meg still has her devotees”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

Long Meg and her daughters brood without dominating their landscape. People still seem to make wishes and leave offerings and my spine understands why.

Hard to find but well worth it

“Miraculous stone Circle in the middle of nowhere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

Visit on a bright moonlit night and you can feel the presence of the long forgotten people who built it.

“Cows and stones”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

The setting was fantastic, complimented by a herd of friendly, curious friesian cows. Make sure you read up on the area before you go

“Just beware of cows!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

It was easy to find on the map but it wasn't easy to take photos because you have a lot of hostile looking cows and cow dungs all over. Need to watch your steps.

“Time travelling”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

A visit to Long Meg and her 'daughters' is well worth the trip, especially on a day where there is sunshine or fog! Remember to wear your wellies, an absolute if there are cows in the field that day or not. Also, please remember that if there are calves around, people die every year by 'cow attack'.
