A slightly dilapidated tea rooms but a very warm welcome from the staff. There is a Yamaha 'self-playing' piano churning out jazz numbers which is pleasant. I initially just had a coffee & and cake which was very nice.
I later returned with my wife intending to have some lunch but discovered that the menu was quite limited. There were good basics like pies & sausage rolls, but my wife doesn't eat meat and there didn't seem to be any alternatives available.
The toilets are situated outside on the terrace area and I went to visit on the way out, however discovered that they were locked. Presumably the key is available from the staff.
