This is a small museum in an attractive old building by the park. We called in on the off chance because the weather turned and walking became impractical. The curator was very friendly and knowledgeable, and there were hundreds of knick-knacks and curios to view, including some handwritten letters by Wordsworth and Robert Southey. Some hands-on exhibits, such as the musical stones, and a small art gallery to boot. It's free to enter, and although it's small it's really interesting.
