“It's a big big rock!!! with a ladder...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

I love this rock. if you had to choose a rock to love, choose this one.
Let's make this the number one attraction in keswick to visit on TripAdvisor. How funny would that be.

I vote this place No1 attraction In keswick... it's a must... tell your friends!

What does a rock want to be when it grows up? A Rock Star ...LOL

“Unusual”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This feature stands alone so there is not much else to see in the immediate vicinity. It is a feature left from the glacial age.The custom is to bend down and shake hands through the gap at the bottom of the rock.

“Its a big stone”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

The bowder stone is an impressive 2000 ton erratic boulder which rest in a state of delicate balance. It is definatly something to see & worth a visit. You dont need long to see it probably about 30mins.

“Been once but won't return”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012

Car park too expensive as we did not need a 2 hour stay - think it was £3.80 for 2 hours and we were probably only there for half an hour.
