A very warm welcome and my room was just perfect for a single occupant - Steve and Amanda were most helpful and nothing was too much trouble - the breakfast was lovely and set me up for a lovely day on the mountains - I'll be back no question - first class location for walkers and mountain bikers alike.

Room Tip: As a single occupant in a double room it was perfect.

Fantastic b&b & wonderful hospitality by Amanda & Steve. Stayed for 2 nights in room 2 & it was perfect for the three of us. Beds are really comfortable, powerful shower, spotless. Friendly owners & beautiful cooked breakfast. Only 5 mins into town as well. Couldn't have wished for more. Will definitely be coming back.

2nd time staying at The Rowan Tree....me and my 3 friends arrived early but that wasn't a problem as the rooms were ready for us....This time i stayed in room 4 and yet again like room 2 the room was brilliant....It had everything we needed....Coffee,Tea,Milk and Sugar Ect.....
Just got to mention the Shower....OMG what a POWER SHOWER!!!! Nearly got blown away in the bathroom....Haha

Breakfast was as good as last time with healthy portions that i chose from the list the night before....

Steve & Amanda are Fab and Friendly.....Glad they reeping the rewards of the time they have put in making The Rowan Tree so successful....
Like it says in the dinning room.....'Arrive as strangers....Leave as friends'....and you certainly do....

Hope to return soon....

Steve

One of the nicest B&B's we stayed at; clean, accessible and a terrific breakfast cooked with local produce. My dad was visiting England from the States and this was his first time to the Lakes. He loved every second of it.

We'll happily stay here again and again!

Very friendly, spotlessly clean, recently refurbished - and so comfortable! - everything we needed for our short break.
Breakfast was delicious, too, with a good choice, and plenty of it! Would love to visit again!

Room Tip: As a group of 3, we stayed in the triple room at the front of the house - just lovely!

This is a great little guest house on a street which which is a few minutes walk from Keswick town centre. There is on street parking outside. The room that we had was nicely decorated and had all the little touches like quality toiletries, bottled water, tissues, alarm clock etc.

Breakfast was first class with fruit, cereal, fruit juice, toast and a magnificent fully cooked breakfast with quality produce. Steve & Amanda are a very nice couple and make you feel really welcome.

If you're visiting Keswick and need a centrally located Guest House, this is a great little place to stay.

Amanda & Steve made us feel really welcome during our stay at The Rowen Tree guest house. The house is nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable and shower very powerful in our room. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to choose from. Full English was very nice and presented and cooked well. Location is excellent as it is just a 2 minute walk into the centre of Keswick town. A lot to see and do nearby without needing to use the car. Had a really enjoyable break and would not hesitate to return and would definitely recommend this guest house. Thanks again Amanda & Steve, and we would like to wish you both all the best
