We ate here for the first time last year, sampling the famous Hungarian goulash. We were back again, for the beet festival and wanted some more goulash; they still serve it, thank God!
Just as wonderful as last time and portions as large as last time!
Dogs are welcome and as a dog owner, a pleasure to see.
The only downside is that it gets busy and some thoughtless visitors and may be locals, who are just drinking take up a table for 4 when there are only 2 drinking,
Like it or not, Keswick is a haven for tourists and there just aren't enough tables & chairs to accommodate everyone who wants to have a meal.
The Wild Strawberry has a great idea, they have a sign on the table that says "this table is for only for groups or 3 or more", may be pubs could adopt this?
Anyway, if you’re hungry, it is well worth a visit, especially if you’re hungry, just go early!
