“Great food, excellent service- definitely a place to revisit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2013 via mobile

Garlic dough balls and garlic bread both very good - in fact the garlic bread was authentic Italian- super thin and crispy.
Mr E had a steak and massive, fat crispy chips - I can attest to how good they were, especially when dipped in the extra creamy white wine and mushroom sauce. The steak was tasty, tender and perfectly cooked . Pasta portions were generous and had a lovely pesto sauce and a generous amount of chicken.
The one problem we had - a rather tasteless sticky toffee pudding( how odd) was deducted from the bill by the very polite and attentive waitress.
Meal for 4, with starters, drinks and a pudding and 2 liquor coffees was about £25 per person . We were very happy to pay it, leave a tip for the great staff and book again for before our theatre visit .
Second visit meant that someone else had the steak- yum! And three of us could now have our own mushroom sauce! Very happy!
I've had lunch and had the good coffee and great ice cream here already but we really enjoyed it Our evening meals. There was even a comment as we were still eating "We could even come again tomorrow..."
It was busy - but half term week- still best to book it.
Thanks for 2 good evenings! Looking forward to a return already!

“Booking essential during busy periods”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

A very popular restaurant, booking is definitely recommended. We attempted an impromptu visit on the Saturday night but they were full, therefore we booked for the Sunday.

Dinner was lovely, we both had pasta dishes and they were beautifully served. The service itself was excellent with someone always ready to help whenever you needed them. The range of gelatos for pudding was impressive, I had the hot cross bun special which was delicious, but it was a difficult job choosing!

“It aint Prezzo but it's ok”

Nice ice cream! huge variety and friendly service. Pasta was very watery and starters were a bit pricey for what you got. Main meals not badly priced for what it is.

“Delicious food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We visited Saturday night about 6pm and had a great meal. We had booked in advance. The service was excellent - there was always someone on hand to check you had everything you needed without feeling like it was too much. Both the starters and the mains that we ordered were really tasty and it was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for an authentic Italian meal in Keswick.

“Easter dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

We ate in Casa Bella on Thursday last week – because we could not get as table on the Wednesday! That to me is a good sign straight away...booked out mid week, they must be doing something right.

Well we had the best meal we have had out for quite some time (in fact the steak I had (surf and turf) was the best steak I have ever had, there you go.) We had marinated olives whilst we looked over the menu fully and looking at the portions coming out of the kitchen we decided not to have a starter and go for a main and sweet instead.

My wife had a sea food pasta dish and I had surf and turf (rump steak with king prawns in ginger and garlic). Both plates where demolished with no waste at all. That’s not to say the portions where small, far from it. The portions where on the big side but manageable. Plenty of sea food in my wife’s dish and at least 5 king prawns on my surf and turf. All washed down with a lovely bottle of pino grigo rose.

For sweet you had a choice of several ice creams and the normal Italian pudding. Being Easter they had a few special puddings as well. I had three scoops of ice cream (Strawberry, lemonchilo and crème Brule) and my wife had one of the Easter specials.

Two coffees rounded off the most enjoyable dinner.

First class service, first class atmosphere, first class food and the price....less than £60 for the meal we had, including wine, first class value. If you are in Keswick please please please go to this restaurant you will not be disappointed......be warned though.....book in advance!
