“Great place to chill out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2013

Wonderful bar with really great service! A great venue with theatre, cinema and restaurant attached. We only popped in for one drink but hours later I sadly had to leave!

Hi LondonMaxx,
Thanks for the terrific review. In March we're hosting a festival of local beers (all brewed within a 20 mile radius of the town). Keep your eyes peeled for info on our website http://www.breweryarts.co.uk. If you happen to be in locale, it would be great to see you.

“Great cinema”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013 via mobile

Whilst on holiday near Kendal we decided to go and watch Kickass 2 at the Brewery Arts Centre, it seemed to be a great place with a good atmosphere, the staff were very welcoming and the price for the cinema was good at £7.00,whereas at a normal cinema tickets are around £9.00. Good value for money in the sweet shop upstairs where we god popcorn from too! We ended up going back again a couple of nights later and watching another film.

“Wet afternoon entertainment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Nice place, set in it's own grounds with a garden containing outdoor seating. Inside is roomy with plenty to see and do. Make sure you check for events. We arrived for the ale and music festival, beer was good, music was...average and it was busy. Sitting in the garden with a decent beer passes an pleasent hour(ish). Worth a visit!

“Fabulous selection of theatre and music”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Brilliant range of plays, music ,stand ups - in fact something for everyone. I mainly go for theatre and find most productions are excellent. It is also one of the most reasonably priced places in the area.Parking on site and very community minded with lots of arts related courses for adults and children. Haven't tried the food but they always seem very busy.

“Cultural Centre of Kendal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

It's all happening at the Brewery: theatre, comedy, music - wide range from classical to louder, cinema (3 1/2) screens, lively bar, restaurant with excellent pizzas and tapas, good for quick meals before events, or snacks after, and just for a good meal, daytime 'coffee shop' at 'The Warehouse'. Efficient box office, in person, telephone and seat-specific online too.

A particularly nice feature is the very wide age range of visitors - you won't feel too young, or too old - whether you are toddler or wrinkly, or anywhere in between.
