We went as a group of four to the Blue Tiffin, and had a very good meal (indeed excellent food, and a reasonable Lassi - the second being much better than the first which was a little tasteless). This was all spoiled by the attitude of one member of staff. We had booked in advance (saying that would like to use two Bay Vouchers - one each for each couple) which they said was OK on the phone but then got a little negative when we wanted to settle up (including questioning whether one of the vouchers was genuine as it had been printed on a recycled bit of paper). Then they revealed that their card machine was not working - and having see a fuss earlier in the evening at another table, we realised it had not been working for some time. None of us had any cash so we had go out and visit a cash point, which would have been OK if we had been advised of the technical problem when we arrived or when it happened, but one member of staff wanted another to accompany us (we left two of our party at the restaurant now feeling a little like hostages). Thus, overall I can thoroughly recommend the food, but if you do visit be prepared for some unfriendly interactions. This would stop me visiting again, but you may want to take this as water off a duck's back.
