When you walk into the Odeon in Hull it looks like any other cinema, clean modern and welcoming. However, once you've bought your tickets and move towards the screens it's a very different story. It's so dated and in need of some serious money to get it back into shape. In the ladies toilets none of the toilets would flush and the seats in the cinema as old fashioned and very uncomfortable.
I think this cinema has suffered at the hands of the other Cuban chains in Hull. The Odeon is now on the outskirts of the city centre, which now has 2 cinemas as well as being the most expensive option in the city, it's not surprising that people aren't interested in going here. I only went because it was the only cinema showing the performance I wanted to see, and even then I couldn't watch it anyway as there was a "technic fault" and the film crashed. We did get a full refund (including Internet booking fee) and free cinema passes to be used another time. Only problem is now I have go go back to the Odeon to use it.
