“Lovely cafe - if you can get a table......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

Lovely food and service. The cakes and stews are especially good.
Avoid it at peak times, especially if you are in a group of 3+ people as you will have to wait ages for a table. There are usually loads of yummy mummy types hogging tables for hours nursing coffees and chatting for as long as possible.

“Tunbridge Wells Women who Shop”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Great for lunch and their victoria sponge is to die for - difficult to get in at weekends as it tends to fill up with enormous baby palaces on wheels.

“Top lunch destination - if you can get in!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

I've had lunch here a couple of times and while being a little on the pricey side for what is effectively a bit of salad and cake, the food is amazingly good.

The decor is very "mad hatters tea party", with cute mismatched crockery and cutlery and shabby-chic decor.

The only drawback is it is chronically busy, especially around lunchtimes when it's packed with the Tunbridge Wells yummy mummy brigade. They almost need to open another one at the top of town, or take reservations. Best time to visit is later in the afternoon.

Really good place though, and highly recommended.

“Cafe with an interesting difference”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2012

The cafe is themed on shabby chic through out from tables to plates, cuttlery and even the salt and pepper pots! We went for breakfast and I had the bacon sandwhich wich was very average and my partner had the scrambled egg which was quite good. We also had coffee which was excellent. The place was very busy and had a good atmosphere. Sort of ladies who does lunch place.

“Lovelt Tea Shop”

Lovely cakes and coffee. Nice spot in the High Street though a little crowded inside. Great place for a girlie coffee and a natter.
