We stayed in premier inn ahead of boarding early ferry. Location perfect, staff friendly. Room very clean and comfortable, pity about the elephant in room above! We had family room double bed and single and still ample of room and large tv!

Very useful stopover for Channel Ferry crossing from Dover. 4 minutes from the ferry terminal. Clean, quiet, comfortable hotel, friendly staff. Good value. Close to restaurant for dinner and/or breakfast.

Overall comfort good but beware the rooms on the road side!! (Unless you are stone deaf). Traffic noise all night long. They're all big trucks off the ferries, heavily laden and they pass by every few seconds ALL NIGHT.

We stayed here the night as we were exploring the surrounding area for my coursework. Friendly staff and a clean room however the restaurant had filthy glasses/ cutlery while it was a long walk to get there.

We used this for an overnight stay before travelng to France. As a hotel it's really very good with clean rooms and nice staff, so from that point of view I can recomend it plain, cheap and does what it says on the tin, however it is attached to the appaliing Duke of York which I have reviewed on it's own. If it is a cross ferry stop over then consider just going to France and finding something there or be prepared to find somewhere else to eat.

Permier inn should to save their reputation divorce it'self from an awful neighbour!

My wife and I stayed for three nights 12th to the 15th April. We were made very welcome by the friendly and helpful staff. The room was clean and tidy, and on the plus side very quite considering in is on the main A2 trunk road to London. We found this Hotel to be value for money.
The down side to it is the restaurant is about a two hundred yard walk away,up a slight hill, not very good for disabled people.(As I am in a wheel chair) The food was very good, and once again the staff very friendly and helpful.
The reason for our stay was to visit the wifes sister.

Room Tip: As a disabled person I had a disabled room, which was very good plenty of hand rails around the bath...

Stayed hear the night before catching an early morning ferry from Dover. The location could not be better, just two minutes from the port.

Staff friendly and welcoming, especially towards the children and the rooms are large, clean and comfortable as you would expect from a Premier Inn. Despite being situated alongside a busy dual carriage way, there is remarkably no noise from it inside the room.

Stayed here again a week later on our return from France and the experience was pretty much as before.
