We had a Sunday lunch here with friends after a visit to the Canterbury Cathedral which is only a minutes away from the restaurant.
The restaurant wasn’t very busy and we enjoyed a quiet meal. The food was served pretty quickly. My Risotto Verdure had good fresh vegetables. One of my friends had Tricolore (mozzarella, tomatoes and avocado) as a starter and it was really fresh and delicious. Yet, the pizza which we ordered was not very tasty.
The dessert Bunet Piemontese for £5.25 was really small. Pinnacotta looked good but I could not have it as it is not for vegetarians. The ice cream was described well on the menu yet it turned out to be nothing special. Also, my Sicilian lemonade was not served as expected – in a bottle, not in a cane.
The two waitresses who served us were kind and polite. They were happy to answer all my questions about the vegetarian offerings.
This is my impression from one visit only. Overall, we had a good time here but I am not sure whether I would go again. The little things mean a lot. I would check for another restaurant option while in Canterbury.
