“Friendly service and great value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

I don't get down to Northgate very often, but wandering alog there of a lunchtime I spotted this cafe. The place looked inviting, and I decided to give it a go.

Principally a sandwich shop, but there's fresh bread, local preserves and a selection of gluten free foods available.

Sandwiches are freshly made with the bread freshly cut. I went for Ashmore Cheese with tomato on granary, but there's a reasonable range of fillings available for those wanting something more adventurous.

Service was very friendly and at £2.50 for a doorstop style sandwich you can't complain about the prices, particularly with good quality bread and cheese.

I took mine down to the river to eat but there's a small table in the front that you can presumably sit at.

I'll be returning.
