We stayed for two nights, while visiting Canterbury for a friends wedding.
The hotel is very pleasent, and we found the staff to be helpful, friendly and very polite.
On our first night, we had dinner in the restaurant, and we were very impressed at the service. The food was nice too.
The bed in our room (203) really let the hotel down, I think I would of had a better nights sleep on a park bench .. well it certainly would not of been any harder. The second night, having been at the Abode hotel all day enjoying a lovely wedding breakfast and free bar .. the bed seemed more bearable, however we had put the spare blankets and the bed spread under the sheet for more padding!
Our room was in the old part of the hotel, and the floor boards were very squeaky, so that and the fact that we had a heard of elephants staying in the room above us meant it was a little noisy too.
Having said this, we will probably stay at the Abbots Barton again should we return to Canterbury.
