We appreciated being able to visit the site where St. Thomas Becket was murdered. The Cathedral is a very good example of English gothic architecture.

“Cathedral”

It was a flying visit but I love Cantebury Cathedral. It is very atmospheric. Also very impressed I was able to view the Cathedral free of charge.

What a rip off! Charging to enter the grounds. Salisbury Cathedral could teach them a lot about hospitality and how to tempt visitors into the Cathedral.

“Wonderful building steeped in history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

Lots to see, make sure you put a few hours aside for this. Kings and Queens, Thomas Beckett, The Black Prince, 400 year old graffitti on the columns, stained glass windows, brass rubbings, gothic arches, the crypt and a beautiful choir rewarded our entrance fee.

“Beautiful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012

A beautiful cathedral and well worth a visit. Yes it is expensive, but there is a lot to see and it's a huge building to upkeep. Well worth it in my opinion.
