Really can't recommend the steak sandwich too highly, and the fish-finger sandwich is pretty good too. As others have said, this isn't a cheap place to eat, but good for a treat. We have had to wait a while during busy times, so worth going during quieter times of day. Service is variable -- it's easy to be ignored, and a couple of the waitresses don't seem to have reached the "smile and make eye-contact" part of their training yet, or the "apologise graciously for inevitable little mistakes" part. And the shop is cute, niche and fairly pricey -- like a tiny Waitrose. But really, the steak -- between doorstep slices of fresh bread, with thick hunks of melting blue cheese and caramelised onions -- all is forgiven when you sink your teeth into that. Almost feel guilty looking at the calves on show afterward.
