Booked a table for tonight last minute based on a friend's recommendation! Wasn't quite sure what to expect as pub grub can be a bit hit and miss.
First off, they place is wheelchair friendly, which is unexpected for a quaint market town like Ledbury!
As soon as I walked in I was warmly greeted and as I entered the restaurant I was bowled over by the warm and friendly introduction I got from two very attractive waitresses!
We got our drinks in no time (again very pleased that they had our favourite Thatcher's cidre on tap!
£3.50 a pint quite frankly isn't unusual to pay these days!
There were a lovely selection of starters but I had my heart set on the 10oz steak burger with chucky chips and didn't think I'd have room so went straight for the mains!
My word! The steak burger was thick, juicy and tasted out of this world! To be honest I thought I was eating something like game or wild boar as it was full of flavour! It was accompanied by a shed load of hand cut chunky chips, which I had to force down as I was so full!
10/10 for our first (of many) visit. Looking forward to returning as I was disappointed I didn't have room for one of the delicious desserts I spied!
It's a small restaurant at the back of the bar so would highly recommend booking to ensure you get seated.
Thanks for a great evening and see you again soon!
