“just what we wanted”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

We were looking for a base for my husband and I to walk around Herefordshire and for our teenage daughter to do her own thing - mostly staying in her room all day! Teresa accommodated both of those needs perfectly. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was very tasty (Great coffee and home made bread) and we had the lounge and bathroom to ourselves with a key each.
Downsides? Not really - it's an old house so the windows didn't quite shut and the floorboards creak, but that's all I can think of! So thanks for a relaxing week!

3 Park Street was just the most wonderful B&B on my recent trip to Hereford. As a Herefordian native visiting family with my partner I wanted to stay somewhere that was close to the amenities, that encapsulated the charm of the town, and that didn't have the sterile feel of a hotel that so many B&Bs try to emulate. It really was a perfect retreat with a welcoming, comfortable, homely feel.

The rooms, though small, have everything that you need, including TV and DVD player, hangers, drawers etc. Guests also have use of the beautiful living room, complete with books, films and scrabble. The beds are comfy, the decor is lovely, and everything was spotlessly clean.

The most wonderful part of our stay was noticing how unwasteful everything was - no sachets of coffee or UHT milk, no mini shampoos or soaps, no individual cereal packets. Our teabags/coffee were decanted into jars, milk was provided in a jug (though more was available obviously), toiletries were available from regular sized bottle for sharing in the shared bathroom - it was a wonderful contrast to my usual B&B visits.

Breakfast included delicious homemade bread and freshly squeezed orange juice, served by Tereasa who was a very welcoming, but discreet host. We will definitely be returning!

This b and b is full of charm, really nice position, a lovely walk to the town through a beautiful park along the river, that made the start of the trip lovely, the accomdation has no faults, lovely room, great bahroom facilities, very clean and beautiful interior with added extras - such as books to read etc. Teresa is very helpful especially for restaurants - she recommended a little italian - the best italian i have ever been to, authentic italian rather than just pizza and pasta, homemade ice cream, cocktails etc etc. really lovely stay! thanks teresa x

We spent three nights at 3 Park Street and we found it to be a home from home. We were very comfortable in a welcoming house. The home-made bread that Teresa made is very good. Parking is difficult but can be eased by negotiations before arrival. The B&B is perfect for family history research because it is walking distance from the Herefordshire Records Office. This B&B offers wireless for laptops which is important for me. Teresa is very friendly but is not intrusive. There is tv in the bedroom and also in the lounge. The area is a quiet residential area on the edge of Hereford. The housing is Victorian and the locality is completely free of traffic noise. It is also free of late night young people wandering the streets.

I stayed here three nights as I was on a business trip in Herefordshire. A wonderful atmosphere, beautiful room, fantastic bed, a desk to work on, wireless, books by the fireside, home made breads and jams for breakfast and to top it all off I treated myself to one of Teresa's hot rock massages, a real bonus! I walked to bus, train and town centre in 10-15 mins through leafy streets, parks and lane ways, also got to stretch my legs along the public footpath in the countryside just around the corner, and enjoyed the bird song and the peace and quiet of Three Park Street. Teresa is a fabulous host, friendly but respectful of her guests' space. What I thought was just a business trip turned into a very rejuvenating experience. Highly recommended!

Ideally placed on the city/countryside borderline, just follow the river path to reach the Cathedral, Mappa Mundi and Chained Library in 10 minutes. but first get unchained by having a massage under Teresa's highly-experienced hands - which makes relaxing by the fire or enjoying the family's artwork, books and music all the better - and you keep on feeling the benefits for days and days. A Victorian cottage in a quiet neighbourhood, with a lovely feel and friendly people.

Stayed 2 nights here with my girlfriend to do some walking on the Wye and see Hereford. This was a good place to stay with a cosy lounge ideal for quiet evenings in. Its situated in a quiet area 10 minutes walk from the town centre and near to open fields; very nice to wake to sounds of birdsong instead of the usual traffic noise! Teresa is a great hostess; we were looked after very well without any fuss, the result is we really felt at home and welcome and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious.

Very highly recommended, we would certainly stay here again if visiting the area.
