“Great Hands on Science for Kids (and their adults)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

We took our grand daughters (11 & 13) for a treat, their choice too. I had read negative reviews about this place and wanted to put things right. We had great fun on all the different equipment, working out problems. For a little extra we went to a show in the planetarium which was vey good for children. We got there quite sharp, no problem with (FREE) parking or queues. The canteen was great for refreshments although a bit on the dear side if you want more of a meal, but downstairs there are tables and benches for you to use with your own food and drinks.
So a great place for 1/2 a day i'd say.

“Fabulous hands-on science for kids”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

There is so much to do here that we always stay for hours. It can get a bit noisy, bu that's to be expected with all the excited kids! My only complaint is that there is nowhere for adults to sit near any of the exhibits, so you have to trail around getting tired.

“Wonderful evening - too good for kids!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2013

Went to one of the planetarium showings, pre booked the tickets were cheap and had so much fun with my husband playing on all of the interactive machines there, and it's nice not having to pretend to be an adult and watch while kids play with them! The flight through the universe was fascinating!

“Without the misbehaving kids it would be great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

If children were supervised by their parents instead of them sitting in the cafe, then this would be a 5-star attraction. At some points there were children crawling between our legs to get to the front of the queue. It was disappointing but we still had a good time. Most of the unsupervised children were on the lower floor so if you stay upstairs you might miss some of the things there but you will also miss having a packet of sugar thrown at you which happened to us. All in all go on a quiet day i.e your children's INSET day.
