I went there for a Christmas do. It was very good value for a Christmas meal - I think £20 or £25, which included a glass of bubbly. The food was from a buffet, and the flavour was good. They had a good selection of vegetarian dishes. After the meal, they had some live singers on, who were really skilled, but unfortunately it was so loud our conversations were interrupted. After that, they had a really good DJ, who played a really good selection, better than your usual mobile disco. Overall, it was a really good night.
The restaurant itself is a bit strange. It's upstairs in what from the outside like a warehouse. It has nice touches everywhere, such as a sign saying 'first class customers this way'. The restaurant is rather cavernous. When we were there, there were 6 other parties, all with about 20-30 people sitting round the tables, and the place was about half-full. This is fine when there's the general hubbub of conversation, but when they put the music on, there was nowhere quiet to go and talk.
