We decided to visit the Pig in the wall ( sister to The Pig in Hampshire) for lunch on a whim and I was surprised by the on site gated car park. Inside we were greeted by friendly staff and a real wood fire in a "rustic" setting. The food was simple deli style cooking. The red pepper and goats cheese quiche and meat board were well received but the carrot cake was rather dry and not very carrotty. Good for simple lunches
