The Grand Cafe occupies the former ballroom South Western Hotel which was used by first class passengers of the Titanic. The building is now Grade II listed and retains many of the original features, including high ceilings and Renaissance windows. It was a wonderful setting for 38 of us to enjoy Christmas lunch on 11th December 2013. On arrival our coats were taken and we were able to share a drink and mingle in the bar before being seated at our festively decorated tables. Our names and menu choices were provided to assist the staff with serving our food which was done quickly and efficiently - all hot, no errors! The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating throughout our visit. It was a great dining experience which was not adversely impacted by the size of our group. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
