“Perfect location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

We were going to an event at the Pyramid Centre and needed a room for 3 of us. We had the family room on the third floor with a beautiful sea view. We were delighted by the location, the friendly welcome and the parking permit. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quite warm so we just turned down the radiator. Breakfast in the newly refurbished restaurant was excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The hotel has lovely decor, is clean and comfortable.
The staff at the hotel are a big asset as they gave good recommendations for local eateries. What was most important to us was that they went out of their way to post to us, a valuable article that we'd left behind.
It was a lovely place to stay.

We stayed in a four bed room on the third floor, with wonderful views across the sea channel. The room was clean and airy, although warm, and bathroom was well-stocked.
All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The parking permit was fabulous, and the public areas of the hotel are beautifully decorated.
The hotel is within a ten minute walk of a street of restaurants, and there is a laundromat around the corner.
Opposite the hotel is the water and a park in-between. Beautiful views!

A belated thank you for your most kind review. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us and that you thought so highly of the Seacrest Hotel. We do have spectacular views of the Solent from the third floor of the Hotel. These views are made more interesting because this particular stretch of water is very busy with all kinds of leisure, Naval and Ferry vessels. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip. Best wishes - Ana Tudor, General manager

The refurbishments continue with great flair and taste. The Hotel's position could not be bettered. Our room (No 7) was excellent in every way with breakfasts varied and generous. How lovely to have a breakfast cooked for you, as opposed to a congealed buffet; this being one of the differences between private ownership and a chain. Anna and Tenny were attentive and smiling, Anna is the smart attractive manageress and Tenny the little bubbly waitress. The work and changes continue all in the right direction.

We have just returned from a super break away at the Seacrest. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent and the breakfasts were superb. The public rooms, dining room and our bedroom were all tastefully decorated and very clean. All in all it's a brilliant hotel in a great location; highly recommended.

Typical Victoria hotel along the seafront with parking on road ( parking permit supplied). Good breakfast supplied. Bedroom was on the small side and double bed had a mattress which was too soft for me!

A very clean quiet hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. All you need really for an overnight seaside break. Excellent breakfast with good selection of items including fresh fruit and yogurts. Good location on seafront. In process of refurbishment so not all the rooms have been redecorated however this did not spoil our stay.

Room Tip: Rooms at back of hotel are much smaller
