I feel like the overall hotel had slipped in standard since my first stay there exactly 2 years prior to this visit.
We booked for a triple room, but they had forgotten to get the extra bed ready for us, so we had to ring reception to come and make the bed up.
If you're unlucky enough to be on the front of the hotel, the noise from late night drinkers was very very bad, and at one point [3.15am to precise], I actually thought there was a riot or fight outside.
We also heard various noise from people returning to their rooms.
Most disappointing for me however, was the breakfast.
Last time it was fantastic, highly recommended infact - this time, the lady charged us full adult price for our 4 year boy, which I got her to correct, and then found that our breakfast was cold. The baked beans which I tipped over the top of my breakfast were stone cold, it was if they had just come straight out of the tin.
There was lack of cutlery on hand, and I had to wait around for spoons for my little boys cereal.
Overall not a good experience.... I wished I had eaten out for breakfast instead. The cost of breakfast for 2 adults and 1 child was £20. Could have got better and cheaper down at Gunwharf Quays
