“Great place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We had a one night stay at this lovely boutique hotel, reception is at the bar but once we had worked that out we where taken straight to our room which was great value although not huge it was perfect with everything that you need and more…. the bed was one of the best I have ever stayed in. Breakfast the next morning was amazing with everything you could possibly think of and again more. Lovely place to stay

Loved this hotel/Inn! Stayed on a Saturday night in November for my boyfriends birthday and we was really impressed with the style of the hotel and all the attention to detail to make sure the hotel was traditional but without trying too hard. Loved all the furniture, decoration and accessories - wanted to take them all home with me! Our room was a good size and so was the bathroom. The bed was 2 singles pushed together but we didn't notice when in it and it was so comfortable.
Good location for walks - we walked from Stow to Bourton on Water through farms and fields and took a couple of hours. Got a cab back as was dark but this only cost £10.
Lovely dinner in the restaurant in the Porch House. Again so nicely decorated I couldn't fault it.
Stow is a lovely traditional town too with lots of tea shops, art galleries etc.
Really enjoyed our stay here.

Room Tip: Superior Room No. 6 was a good size room and lovely and clean. Looked out on to the front of the ho...

Our room was rather on the small side, with a hand wash sink rather than a basin however that was pointed out on the booking system so fair play. The inn is beautifully renovated and full of quirky touches. All-in-all a good experience. Food good and great atmosphere.

Room Tip: Choose the larger rooms

Quaint little place in the middle of Stow. Excellent service and food! It's a really old building but super well maintained and with all the facilities inside. Once again - service was impeccable! Would love to go back.

We had an overnight stay at the Porch House iin November. The hotel is in an excellent location in the middle of Stow. It has a great atmosphere but what makes the hotel is the staff. Throughout our stay we received first class service from all staff working in the hotel. There was 8 in our party and we had booked dinner in the restuarant. On arrival we asked if we could possibly use the private dining room and that was sorted with no fuss at all. Equally the bar and breakfast staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay.
The only small issues with the hotel are that the rooms are on the small side and the car park will only accomadate 3 or 4 cars.
However, don't let that put you off - I would recommend this hotel for a break in the Cotswolds

We have just returned from a one night stay at the wonderful Porch House.
We stayed in room 5 - up in the rafters, the room was perfect. Big comfy double bed, deliciously warm and cosy, perfect lighting and gorgeous rainfall shower in the spacious bathroom.
The food is fantastic, from the a la carte menu in the restaurant to the pre breakfast tea and toast in bed - everything is delivered with thought and attention to detail.
I'm disappointed we only went for one evening - as it was a truly fantastic stay.

Lovely old hotel. Lots of charm and so quaint. Great room and luxuriously comfortable bed. Good breakfast too. Would come again.
