What a lovely friendly hotel . Everyone was so nice ! The room was immaculate and the whole hotel is tastefully decorated. Missed out on dinner but breakfast was stunning ! Got to be the best black pudding ever !! Heartily recommend a visit to this idyllic spot

We stayed here for 1 night. The owner and staff were very friendly, we were shown our room before we agreed to stay. Nothing seemed too much trouble, tea/ coffee was available in our room and we could have had fresh milk , a bonus. The food in the restaurant "Cutlers" was delightful, as as the breakfast, beautifully cooked hot eggs! Would recommend it.

Room Tip: Better to stay here than Sow in The Wold as plenty of parking.

Throughly enoyed the stay at this hotel. We were made very welcone on arrival; and during the stay, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The Birthday cake presented to my Mother was a total surprise. The menu was varied and of very good quality. Special dietary needs were provided for with no fuss. We will certainly be returning here.

Went for a long weekend with friends to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday and what a fabulous time we all had
I had requested a couple of surprises for her before arriving and all this was arranged beautifully and waiting for us. The service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The waiting staff were very attentive and breakfast and dinner was beautifully presented quality food served with a smile which is only too lacking in many establishments these days.
The rooms are beautifully appointed and maintained to a high standard giving a feeling that the place is more of a family residence with homely feeling rather than a hotel
Whilst the hotel is about half a mile to the south of Stow it is a perfect location to explore the Cotswolds and only a short walk into town where parking is extremely difficult at weekends particularly
We will have no hesitation in hopefully being able to return for a similar visit at some later date

We have just returned from a relaxing two day break with friends and cannot fault this fantastic hotel. Trish - one of the owners - could not have made us more welcome. We all had suites which were beautifully decorated as is the whole hotel - no expense has been spared ! Breakfast was perfect and dinner in Cutlers restaurant was first class. Its not often you can eat in the same restaurant two days running but as we were choosing our dishes on the Friday night we were all choosing different dishes for the Saturday night - the food really is amazing!! We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and only wish we could've stayed longer !

cannot fault this hotel in any way, the service was fantastic, as was every member of staff. Trish, one of the owners, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable....we have stayed at many hotels over the years and i have to say, this is definitely one of the best!

We stayed here earlier this year after it being recomended by friends and we are very glad that we did.

The location is perfect to see the Cotswolds in summer or winter but stunning in the autumn with all the leaf fall. The hotel is beautiful in it's self. the interior has been beautifully and carefuly decorated with style and taste. We had a room with a small seperate living room and it was lovell. One of the things I love about the room was that it had a large fridge instead of the usual tiny minibar. The bathroom was very well appointed and the ambience of the hotel is friendly and relaxed.

We only had breakfast which was first class but heard other patrons discussing the food in a very positive way.

All in all a perfect place to base yourself to explor the beauty of the Cotsworlds and a hotel that you will look forward to returning to.
