“Excellent coffee shop”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

Been here a few times now and we always get a warm welcome. The coffee is excellent and so are the cakes. Not really a place for lunch but a nice place to meet friends and/or chill out.

“Nice people, simple good food with relaxed atmosphere - always open!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

This cafe has been revitalised under new management who have transformed what was a cluttered dark hole to a light relaxed place run by nice people - it's always about the people and service and this place has it. Ideally for morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon tea. What I like is I can log onto their WiFi (interesting password) and enjoy a working lunch!! Thanks and don't loose the personal management on-site touch Gents. Also, the proprietors run a media consultancy service which can be very useful on a paid 1:1 basis to develop your online media skills.

“Delightful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

A lovely place for tea and cake. The crockery was gorgeous vintage china and the service was very friendly. Cakes were yummy too! Would definitely go again.

“nice break for refreshing yourself”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2014

We were tired walking and it had also started to rain when we spotted The Patchwork Mouse Café. we ordered tea and coffee and a cake and it was all served well and tasted great. There were some paintings by local artists on the wall for sale. Good atmosphere.

“Don"t be on a diet!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

The Patchwork mouse is a delightful experience and even better since extending the building to make a bigger social area. David and Craig who own it are so lovely, always welcoming with a smile as are their staff. T he choice of specialist cakes are to die for, especially the carrot cake and the red velvet cake which I am now thinking as having as an additional tier on my eldest daughters wedding cake next year!!. The small selection of sandwiches is a good idea as not everyone wants sweet stuff, although its difficult to avoid the vast array available and the price is very acceptable, particularly in Painswick. The attention to cleanliness and detail as in the art gallery is spot on too. Well done guys
