We recently spent four nights at st. Micheals B and B and had the privilege to eat on three separate occaions at JKs restaurant.
As someone who loves to cook and eat good food,I am rarely impressed with the majority of restaurants I have frequented, there have been a few very good ones, which are usually top end and expensive.
I however loved JKs, the food was refreshly different, cooked with imagination and passion.
On an after lunch tour of the kitchen I was taken by the boxes of o! so fresh veg, figs in the top box fennel in the next.it all looked as if it had been harvested with in the hour.
Jean the owner and kithen manger is truely an inspirational character and clearly runs a very happy and honest kitchen.
