If you visit Sezincote expect an amusing and informative personal guide (about 20 in each party) to take you round on a 45-minute historical tour outlining the origin, history and furnishings of this amazing house. Some of the objets d'art are literally priceless but not even hidden in glass cases or roped-off, but right there in front of you! Excellent guide and comprehensive tour of half a dozen wonderful rooms - well worth the £10. The gardens are very pleasant, mainly shrubs, and not as extensive as many large country houses but worth a wander. Altogether a very pleasant afternoon out for a fine day, and do take Tea in the orangery! There is no other food and wheelchair users would have a problem (stairs in the house).
