“lovely friendly little cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

lovely little place, we stopped off mid morning to have a drink. It's based upstairs in the big antiques shop, all the staff were very warm and friendly and although we only had a teacake and tea everything was spot on, will be back when we return to Cirencester

“Please review date!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2011

Hello!
Could you please check that the date of this visit is correct???
I ask as My brother-in-law and I took over Ann's Pantry, Market Place, Cirencester in May 2011. We are a small and friendly cafe dserving all sorts of teas and coffees, ful and light breakfasts, light lunches and afternoon teas with homemade cakes and cream teas. We have never served beef stew, we are not open in the evenings and I promise I have never worn slippers to work! :)

Many thanks
Linda

“A quiet and well located Cafe proving traditional meals.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2011

Located in Central Cirencester in The Market Place. Access is through an Antiques Store, and the cafe is on the first floor. The range of food on the menu is good, from the traditional English Breakfast to sandwiches, lunch, afternoon teas and evening fare. The restaurant is a fair sized but cozy room that looks slightly faded in an old world style. Food is plentiful and to a satisfactory standard. The Beef stew is great, as is the ham and eggs. Price is reasonable, £25 for two main meals for my wife and self + a childrens portion for our 6 year old grand-daughter. We have been back twice because of the relaxed nature of the place, and the unfussy manner of the ladies who serve. Don't expect to receive rapid service or fast food; that is not the style of the place. Much more tranquil and almost endearing! On one occasion one lady who served us walked to our table with our food order wearing her soft slippers - marvellous! We will go back again.
