“Did the job”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014 via mobile

Just needed one night for the Cheltnham Jazz festival. Having read other reviews we pretty much got what was expected. Room was fine although could do with a spruce up. Bathroom ok though the drawer under the sink needed a clean. Clearly no one cleaning had thought to check that! Bed was comfortable. Slept well. Though walls and things are a bit thin so quite noisy when fellow guests come back. Breakfast was sufficient but no eggs with cooked selection. Price wasn't too bad.

This hotel in the centre of Cheltenham is clean and comfortable The rooms are a reasonable size and nicely decorated.
Breakfasts are below par – the coffee is terrible and on the day we stayed the cooked option did not include any eggs.
Another annoying aspect of this hotel is their check in and check out policy. They charge guests an extra £10 for the privilege of checking in before 4pm in the afternoon and another £10 if they wish to check out any later than 10.30am.
None of this seems to put off guests as the place was full on the night we stayed. Not sure if we would use it again though.
It's not even particularly cheap.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Ideally located for the town centre and surrounding Cotswolds. Breakfast was a buffet style with plenty to choose from. Car park is small and £6 a night, which is reasonable compared with the rest of Cheltenham. But it is on a first come first served basis. We had no trouble. Make sure you have the do not disturb sign on the door until you leave the room, we had the room cleaner come into one of the rooms my family had at 8.30 on day of departure, as she was told we were leaving that day. I commented to the reception about it, who although did say sorry and would follow up with the supervisor. I wasn't overly impressed with the outcome. Other than that, I would use again if up that way.

this hotel is very close to both Montpellier and the town centre so thats a big plus.
its is a clean, well priced modern budget hotel.
staff are very helpful and accomdating.
the only small problem is that the hotel parking gettings full very quickly (charged at £6 overnight) so you may have to park in the public car park on the next street.

Middle of the road accommodation at a decent price. Clean, tidy and functional. Room decor a bit quirky, but fine. Staff friendly. Breakfast was no thrills, but perfectly adequate and hot food (sausages, bacon, hash browns and beans) a bonus. Coffee good quality. Would have no qualms going back....value for money.

Stayed two nights and was very happy with standard of accommodation and service. Good sized bedroom with plenty of plug sockets and mirrors. Wasn't keen on the curtains which looked like shag pile rugs. Staff really friendly and helpful. Breakfast room a bit plastic looking but a goid selection of food on offer. Only downside was that bedroom overlooked the street and was waken by the noise from outside on both nights. Overall though was more than happy and would stay again.
