I've been looking at reviving my shooting activities after over 35 years and pass Ian Coley's shooting grounds twice a day going to and from work. Initially looking at an air rifle I am now erring on a nice over under shotgun for clay pigeon shooting. 'Her indoors' is not a great fan of guns so a stealth approach was required, hence my suggestion that we drop in on a Saturday morning for breakfast on the way to our retail therapy day in Cheltenham, mentioning that they also do some nice waterproof women's clothing also swung it. We arrived about 9.15 and duly ordered two full English breakfasts with coffee, as I perused the gun magazines herself was busy looking through the women's clothing, and even the guns. Breakfast arrived freshly cooked and hot coffee, faultless. Most TripAdvisor write ups are quite rightly about the shooting facilities which are extremely good, however I have to say that the charming lady who runs the cafe seems to have been somewhat overlooked and should be highly commended for her cooking, the breakfasts were both excellent and reasonably priced. Her indoors is now talking about US having shooting lessons, I'll never understand women as long as I live!
