At a number of meets over the year one gets the opportunity of seeing an enormous range of cars howling their way up the hill. The vehicles range from some of the most exotic and ancient through to the common place and every day driven by women and men with a passion to clip a 100th of a second off their personal and class records. The location, on the edge of a wooded Cotswold scarp is stunning, with views towards the Vale of Evesham. Regular and frequent steam rail GWR traffic makes its way around the foot of the course adding additional interest to the site. The atmosphere is very relaxed - there can't be many places where on can chat with a Bugatti works driver and engage in a discussion about chain drives with a man wrestling with a 46 litre 1908 behemoth that has deafened all with its thrash up the hill.
Simply a wonderful day out for boys (and many girls) of all ages.
