“Faultless”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013

Stayed here for my birthday at the end of June with my girlfriend. If anyone is thinking of staying in Cheltenham you won't go far wrong with The Bradley. The owners were very welcoming and showed us to our room which was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed for a nights stay, tea and coffee, ironing board, hair dryer, all the things you'd get at a four star hotel. One thing you would be lucky to get at a four star hotel would be a breakfast as good as The Bradleys. I could not fault it. Proper sausages and bacon perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend staying here.

It's rare for me to not be able to find fault in a hotel but this is a rare exception. The location is lovely and parking is easy (you need to go in and get a parking badge or call and they'll come out with one!). The room was beautiful. We had room one which was a double in one room and a lounge with a day bed. I was sleeping on the day bed which was extremely comfortable.

Room had everything you needed and they included fans because it was hot. The shower was powerful, the towels fluffy, the pillows and beds were lovely and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and not greasy. And my dealings with Chris and Sue were fast and helpful.

Fantastic find and would definitely recommend.

Having seen the previous excellent reviews decided to stay for 3 nights in July. Was more like a hotel than a B&B, with welcome chocolates and biscuits in the room and facilities for making tea, coffee etc with fresh milk available from the mini fridge just along the corridor.
Our room, Art Deco at the top of the large house, was beautifully furnished with a large and very comfortable bed. The house is located in the Montpellier district, ideally placed to be able to take a short walk to shops, restaurants etc but away from the noise of traffic so it's also quiet and relaxing area. All the staff we spoke to were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were always spotlessly clean. Must also mention the breakfasts, a great selection of fruits, cereals etc followed by a choice of cooked. If you're looking for a place to stay, look no further.

The Bradley has been recommended numerous times to me but this was the first time I have got round to staying there and boy did it live up to expectations and actually surpass them. From the moment I arrived to the unintentional slightly late check out Chris and Sue really made me feel welcome at home. I stayed in Room 1 which consists of a living room style entrance room, with a huge sofa, wardrobe and all the basic amenities to make your morning coffee and some complimentary snacks. The bathroom is perfect and finished to a high standard, again with all the amenities, when speaking to sue she said with regret they couldn't fit a bath in there but for me, this wasn't an issue, for some guests it might be. Then on to the bedroom, the bed in incredibly comfortable and everything fits just right with it's alternative artwork this really felt like the design had been thought about. The best bit is sliding up the sash window and stepping out onto the balcony which had a full patio set on it, especially on a beautiful British summers day/evening this is a great asset.

One of the key things that stood out for me was when it came to ironing my shirt there was a clean working iron and ironing board that meant my shirts were not in danger of getting messed up when i ironed them for the wedding, a really small thing but again they have done everything right.

Read the reviews - the breakfast is insanely good, if for whatever reason this didn't work as a business please start a posh breakfast bar instead. I would stop in to eat all the time.

Can't praise these Hoteliers enough for what they have done. Thank you for looking after me and the party I was in, everyone loved it.

Room Tip: Room 1 if you can afford it, mainly for the balcony. don't worry if not, you won't be disapp...

We had arrived in Cheltenham on a whim and left it quite late to book a hotel(1600!). After looking at the reviews on tripadvisor, we phoned and asked if there were any rooms free. My call was answered by a very friendly female who was extremely helpful and managed to give us a room. Fortunately they had a cancellation; the whole city was busy as there was a fair going on in the gardens.

When we arrived, we realised how excellently located the B and B is; it is a short walk from the town centre and only a 400m walk to the main dining street. Parking is free as they give you a permit to place in your car. We had many questions about good places to eat and how to get around which were all answered enthusiastically with good knowledge. The B and B itself was beautiful, and the room had everything we needed. The shower was spacious and powerful and the bed was extremely comfortable. Free wifi was available and the breakfast that was included in the price was delicious.

Helpful tip: Don't book a room though booking.com as they charge 20% commission!

Stayed recently as part of a group for a family wedding. Great atmosphere and we were made to feel completely at home. The bathrooms were stunning! Both mine and my brother's rooms had balconies, which with the glorious weather, was amazing. Cannot wait to stay again! Oh, and the breakfast should have its own page - top notch.

If you want a B@B in Cheltenham then this is definitely top of the list. Comfortable bedroom, modern bathroom with all the trimmings found in a 4 star hotel. Choc on the bed, choices of tea, biscuits in the room. Chilled mini milk fridge in the hall. Excellent breakfast including a delicious bowl of fresh mixed fruits. The interior is period with many interesting artefacts. Parking passes are available from Chris and Sue for the road.
