“A amazing hotel with great hosts”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2011

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Chris and Sue with a glass of Prosecco and the warmest welcome anyone could ever wish for. We had the balcony room and it exceeded our expectations. Everything has been thought of and Chris and Sue have gone above and beyond to provide a magnificent service. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and the bathroom was was something out of a 5* hotel, the finishing touches like bathrobes, fresh milk, all teas, coffees and even chocolate!
Breakfast was nice, plenty of choice and good quality ingredients used. Nothing was too much trouble for this fabulous couple!
Cant wait to come back soon and we will be recommending to others.

Thank you very much for your review! We are really disappointed we did not have the rooms you wanted in June (we never expected to be so busy so quickly), however we have pencilled you in for the dates in September. And we will enjoy welcoming you back! Chris and Sue

My 16 year old daughter and I just stayed with Chris and Sue at The Bradley and they couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating. We had a charming twin bedded room with a spacious desk for working on, a newly refurbished shower room (with underfloor heating) and a delightful balcony overlooking gardens and the church, with a patio table and two chairs, which was lovely for sitting out in the sunshine having a coffee, from the amply supplied Tea and coffee making facilities in the room (with fresh milk twice daily), or having a glass of wine in the evening, which was complimentary on our arrival!
As for breakfast, there was a healthy spread of cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, croissants and spreads, and the freshly cooked options came piping hot in generous portions. Sue and Chris were full of advice on the local area, particularly where to eat, and were happy for us to order a takeaway one evening when we felt too tired to go out.
The house has a lot of history and some beautiful pictures and momentos, which all add to the atmosphere which another guest summed up at Breakfast when he said "This is just like staying at the most beautiful house in the country which you always wished you owned yourself!"
I would highly recommend staying at The Bradley, and feel sure that their 3 rooms will soon be booked up solidly, as Chris and Sue have a winning combination of a fabulous location (right next door to Cheltenham Ladies College) and 200 yards from the popular Montpellier area; and are providing a top class service at a very reasonable price - book NOW, while you still can!!!

We can only sing the praises of this new boutique B & B.
The welcome was warm and genuine and our exquisite double room with sun drenched patio was a big plus. Location for Montpelier area is so close an only 200 metres from main shopping area and gardens!
The bathroom was so practical and robes and towels heavenly.
Extra touches in the way of sewing kit medical req. etc. showed that these hosts have done so much homework.
After a peaceful sleep the superb breakfast (fresh fruit salad - a delight) and yet again welcoming , but unobtrusive hosts delvered on all fronts. However the downside is that it won't be as easy to book in future (shame).

This is a boutique style B&B and Chris and Sue work very hard to make your stay enjoyable as well as that little bit special.

The large family house is exquisitley furnished and in keeping with early part of last century it is situated in the chic Montpellier area of Cheltenham which is still close to the town centre but distanced enough and offers its own area of stylish restaurants, wine and coffee bars and boutique shops.

We stayed three nights over easter as we wanted to use Cheltenham as a base for touring the local area and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was stylish and comfortable, complete with state of the art tv, wifi and also special little touches like fresh milk every morning (not those UHT little pots), luxurious bathrobes and we had a terrace with table and chairs.

Breakfast is a delight with a vast array of cereals, fresh and dried fruits, and locally baked breads and pastries on offer as well as traditional English with again locally produce.

Highly recommended and will deffinately be returning

Received such a warm welcome and were even picked up at the train station by the guest house owners - such a nice gesture. Guest house was Fab! The room was lovely and we even had our very own balcony. The bathroom was very well decorated. Overall we could not fault the guest house and will recommend it to anyone travelling to Cheltenham in the future.

Had a wonderful weekend at The Bradley. Amazingly opulent room, spacious and beautifully furnished with a lovely outlook. Really comfortable antique four poster bed. Bathroom to die for, sheer luxury. Everything was spotless. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented. Sue and Chris really welcoming and friendly. House is perfeclty positioned and they recommended a lovely restaurant just a few minutes walk away.
Certainly plan to go back in the future as it is the perfect place from which to visit the Cotswolds.

We received such a warm welcome when we arrived and our room was fabulous! We had a four poster with a sumptuous mattress and snuggly quilt and the room itself was really opulent. The bathroom was beautifully done out and pristine. All the little touches that make a B & B stay were there with luxury products, fluffy towels and robes as well as fruit and a well stocked 'tray' in the room. Delicious breakfast with good quality products. The house itself is lovely and we enjoyed hearing about its history. We couldn't fault the place and would love to stay again.
