We called into the Cleeve Hill Golf Club after doing the cotswolds circular walk which starts and ends just on the doorstep. The walk was lovely, and the golf club is well placed for relaxing at the end and as a place for a toilet stop. They serve drinks and also food. They are not so welcoming with the signage - no wellies, no walking boots, no shorts. That said, most people had ignored several of the rules. The barman was not too friendly, and one of the glasses was dirty. I asked for a replacement and was given one that was even dirtier. So I settled for the original dirty glass which was a shame. They have toilets and showers here, and an outside garden with picnic tables and they seemed very dog friendly, with several water bowls available.
It was nothing special, and the barman was not friendly, but due to its location it is a handy place to stop if you are walking on the cotswold way, and it could have been worse.
