We rented privately so its unfair to comment on that here so this review is purely on site and surroundings
The site on first appearance is attractive.modern buildings, play area...but that is where it ends!!
I would say its more like wasteground,a cemetry for many grotty looking old statics (intersperced with some new) and literally all on "pitches" on top of each other, no gardens or maintenance of grassy areas, potholes in the unmade roads.
We have stayed in many sites across Europe and their facilities, presentation and cleanliness put this to shame!!..Cannot believe they call this a caravan site!!
The Swimming pool...we were made aware it was small etc so weren't disappointed, however it was functional even if the changing rooms were a little grim and showers useless.
We tested the bar and "entertainment" once for 45 mins.....long enough to see a person dressed up as a giant rabbit and a bloke in a hi de hi style green suit.....Bingo threatened to start...our cue to leave!!!....However if this is your thing then it was clean and bar service was acceptable.
All being said the town of Rye is beautiful with many lovely places to eat ,especially Cafezara for lunch and the Ypres Castle pub for drinks and dinner.....the beach at Camber.is fantastic...just close your eyes to the other nasty surroundings....
Park Holidays who own this place shouldn't be letting anyone to stay here until its bulldozed and re landscaped!
