Just returned from a weekend away with two friends. We stayed in the Chocolate room which turned out to be much more luxurious that we were expecting: huge beds, lovely toiletries, enormous bath and shower and complementary tea and cake. The breakfast is really impressive too. Really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be returning soon.

Wow! We stayed here upon returning to the UK after a week long motorbiking trip of Europe. We arrived earlier than expected but were shown to our room by the friendly owners. Kate gave me a tour of all the room's amenities and there were so many! Fresh milk in the fridge if we needed it for coffee or tea. Terrycloth bathrobes available for use. A fully appointed bathroom with toiletries. The Indigo Room is at the top of the building and faces away from the High Street and towards the coast. We opened the windows for fresh air and relished the view. The beauty of staying in a town is that one can explore and walk to dinner. We were given our own set of keys to use to get into the building itself as well as our room. At breakfast the next morning, we were able to choose from a small menu. Fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals were also available on a side table. Our stay was delightful and I would recommend Hayden's without reservation.

Booked on-line several months before our trip to France/Rye/Brighton. We were sent details of how to find Hayden's and where to park, along with a list of places to eat in Rye.
Arrived to complimentary tea and cakes on the terrace - brilliant after a long drive from France.
Our room, Sandpiper, was huge with ample storage, complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits and it had amazing views.
The breakfast was also exceptional with the choice of eating in the dining room or out on the terrace.
This was definitely the best place we stayed in our 3 week trip.
Rye was also an amazing place we did lots of walking in the area (pick up a free map from the Tourist Information Centre) and the restaurants are excellent.

Room Tip: Sandpiper was very quiet with amazing views

We stayed at Hayden's for one night only, but would definitely stay again when visiting Rye.
The staff were very attentive, they were very busy at the café when we arrived, but acknowledged us straight away. The room, we stayed in the Kingfisher, was bigger than the pictures suggest, super clean, and very comfortable.
The only downside of staying at Hayden's seems to be you can only contact the staff via phone after 5pm (I believe), which is when the cafe closes. So you are sort of left with the feeling of being alone in the property, but to be fair that wasn't an issue as we didn't encounter any problems during our stay.
The breakfast was delicious, and quite varied for a B&B.
We left very happy.

Room Tip: We picked the Kingfisher, as it seemed like the best deal for the price. The cheapest, but still qui...

Haydens in Rye is a beautiful and surprising bed and Breakfast. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and well equipped, Lovely big TVs and luxury bathrooms. Staff very attentive and the food in the coffee shop is highly recommended. All locally sourced and organic where possible. Cakes are fantastic as is the Sunday breakfast. Lovely little terrace at the rear with great views, a real sun trap. Have stayed several times before and will do so again. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear of the property overlook the estuary, those to the front the High street. Althoug...

Lovely stay at Haydens in Rye. Beautiful light and airy room (Sandpiper) with lovely views across roof tops and Rye harbour. The bathroom was to die for. Large and very modern with every thought put into it. The breakfast was wonderful and cooked to perfection and sitting on the terrace outside was an extra bonus as weather was lovely. Richard and Kate were wonderful hosts and very helpful in every way. The staff were always bright and cheerful and nothing was too much trouble. Will look forward to another stay later on in the year.

Room Tip: The Sandpiper room was at the back of the building with the views across the harbour and we were on...

A beautiful room which was thoughtfully and stylishly decorated. The 'Sandpiper' room we stayed in had stunning views across to Rye harbour and beyond. Every detail is lovingly thought out from hand made bath soap and soft towels in the bathroom to complimentary chocolate and a selection of organic tea in the room - even hot chocolate and a coffee pot is provided.
We really appreciated the complimentary tea and home made cake on arrival (which was delicious).
The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice including local produce.
The service is exemplary - we were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived.
We will definitely return to Hayden's.
