Have just returned froma delightful 2 night stay at Hasting House. Believe everything you read about this place in previous reviews! Rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. Lovely toiletries, dressing gowns, slippers.
The breakfasts are superb.
Cannot reccommend highly enough.

We have just returned from our second stay at Hastings House, it is absolutely outstanding. Seng and Elisabeth are the perfect hosts. The house is very well located and the rooms are beautiful with luxurious bathrooms and plenty of finishing touches that make it feel like a home away from home. We stayed in a sea view room on our first stay which had a gorgeous floor to ceiling bay window to sit in front of and admire the view. We booked our second stay at the last minute so sadly all the sea view rooms were taken but we were by no means disappointed as we booked a wonderfully cosy room at the back of the house that had a gorgeous free-standing bath. The beds are really comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. The house has a really warm and relaxing feel to it and we look forward to returning.

Upon arrival Seng the owner offered us a warming cuppa whilst going through the booking in process. We parked the car in the very close by underground parking and didn't move it again until we left. The room was beautiful. We were able to sit in bed and watch the sea. Spotlesslly clean and very warm. The breakfast was delighful. By the time we left on Sunday we had already decided to return in the summer. I actually can't find fault with the place. Super.

Room Tip: Worth paying the extra for a sea view.

This guest house is literally a few seconds from the sea, excellent Service whilst also giving guests privacy. Rooms and finishes all over are top notch, breakfast was excellent and fresh and in short I will not stay anywhere else when down there again! Highly recommended!

My husband and I booked last minute to stay here for 1 night. The hotel was easy to find and street parking was free & easily available, although it was February so in summer, parking may be more of an issue.
We received a very warm welcome upon our arrival with complimentary drinks before going to our room.
The rooms are decorated to a very high standard and contemporary design, with all possible amenities provided. We loved our huge bath with plenty of fluffy towels & great toiletries.
The staff were very helpful and the hotel has a really lovely relaxed modern feel to it.
Definitely recommend this one, although for some the £130 per night may be a little expensive....we thought it was worth every penny. Enjoy!

Room Tip: Depends on the type of en-suite, as some have huges baths & some have showers only. (possibly s...

A very warm welcome was received along with a complimentary drink. We stayed in room one, very comfortable, quiet and clean.
Breakfast was well catered for, and just the right amount.
We have to say that this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in.
A wonderful and comfortable hotel, well done to the owners.
