A truly amazing and beautiful victorian house, and the same goes for the owners Lorraine and Tony. Booked for breakfast which was lovely, room was lovely and all so relaxing, couldnt have asked for a nicer place and nicer people. We will definately be going back. Excellant value for money. It was a beautiful original victorian house.

Tony gave us lots of information on where to go and where to eat, loved it loved it. Maria and Paul. :)

Room Tip: We stayed in the double superior, but the whole hotel is great. no pool or fitness centre, not that...

We stayed for two nights in this lovely guest house. Tony welcomed us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful. The place was wonderfully decorated and very clean. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast was great I had the veggie and my partner the full English and they were lovely. There was a great choice of breakfast on the menu. We met Lorraine the next morning who was also lovely as was the lady who serves breakfast and services the rooms. The whole place was very professionally run but with a very friendly approach. Loved it. Hasting itself was lovely, the old town at night has a wonderful atmosphere and some great restaurants. Can't wait to come back.

The rooms were lovely, and and really clean. Tony and Lorraine were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was really nice, and a good choice of menu. The beds were really comfortable, plenty of space in the room. Also plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe. Off street parking was a bit of a put off. But we could always get a space. So not that much of a problem.

We stayed here for two nights from the 19th July looking for some respite from looking after a parent who is not well and had a really lovely time. The house is amazing, Tony is a perfectionist which shows in the decor which is first class and in very good taste throughout. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows very comfortable, and the breakfast was the best we have ever tasted. There is plenty to do and see in hastings we found it a very interesting place to stay, the old town and fishing area are great and the walks on both the West and East side of the old town are lovely. We highly recommend the Sea Spirit Guesthouse.

We stayed here one night after a very long flight from Australia. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Tony and Lorraine were great hosts and served a very good breakfast. We were not keen on the street parking. Maybe because we are not use to having such small streets with so many cars parked on them. With a bit of moving of the bins Tony helped us park the car in the small section in front of the house. Thanks Tony.

It soon became very clear to us that bothTony and Lorraine love the B&B business. The care they have taken to create a wonderfully welcoming house was clear from the moment we stepped inside and were greeted by Lorraine. The house is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated yet still retaining a homely feel. Our room at the back of the house was very quiet and comfortable with a view over the garden. An excellent choice of breakfast options freshly prepared by Tony and a never ending coffee pot to help ourselves to. What could be better? There is a small parking area at the front of the house which may just about hold two small cars but we left ours on the road immediately outside for the duration of our stay with no problem at all. For an added bonus there is also an excellent traditional pub called the Dripping Spring just a few minutes walk away. Well worth a visit as they serve very good food at more than reasonable prices.

Highly recommended and if we go back to this area will definitely make The Sea Spirit our first choice.

Thank you Lorraine and Tony for a brief, but very enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Bus stops are close by and Warrior Square Railway Station is a short walk away for faster journeys a...

A beautifully decorated Victorian house, very clean, comfortable and romantic even! Lorraine and Tony gave us a very warm welcome and immediately made us feel at home. Delicious breakfasts made from locally produced products - and you can really taste that! Tony gave us straightforward directions to get everywhere we wanted and Lorraine advised us on where to go.
No street noise and easy parking.
Our stay at the Sea Spirit Guest definitely enhanced our delightful four day stay in Hastings.
