This small B&B is in a convenient location in Brighton, close to the restaurants and shops in both St James Street and Kempstown. The two hosts, Terry and Chris, are excellent hosts and the strongest recommendation. They are knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to be with. Our room, although a little small, was spotless, and a comfortable bed. The en-suite contained everything except face flannels. (Bring your own?) A small criticism re the room - the closest power point to the mirror wasn't close enough for the hair drier. The proprietors advise that they are renovating the rooms and expect to renovate the room in which we stayed soon and that this matter will be remedied. In the meantime, perhaps a short extension cord would suffice. The breakfast menu is comprehensive and huge. Excellent value. The coffee needs improving though, gentlemen. Suggest a cafetiere for the table. Instant coffee in a pot? Below the standards you have set yourselves.
