“Small dish magic..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2013

We went for lunch, called up and got a reservation on the day. Think we were lucky because it was rammed. Recommend you sit at the counter so you can see whats going on. The chefs work in view, food is of the highest quality. The kimchee chicken wings were amazing, pheasant was great.. everything we had was great. Dishes range from £6-9, small drinks list with local beer and wine. Probably the best eating in Brighton at the moment.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2013

I went there with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The food was superb - very Master Chef - and it was fun to watch the chefs at work. The plates are big enough to share between 2 and probably 6 dishes will suffice. I found the stools a bit uncomfortable but then I have a bad back! Ask for the table if there's a group otherwise you'll all be sitting in a long
line!! I'll definitely be back very soon!

“Brilliant experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013

Had lunch here last Friday. A great experience. We sat in front of the chefs, watching as they prepared the various courses.. which definitely added to the enjoyment. Essentially, there are no starters or main courses, you just choose from the various fish, meat and vegetable dishes and carry on ordering until you have had enough.. a different version of tapas I guess. It works brilliantly… there was three of us and we worked our way through virtually everything on the menu. Tastes and combinations were extremely good. Chefs really happy to interact and describe/demonstrate how they were achieving each dish.. memorable.. we will come back. You need to book as it is very popular even though I understand it has only recently opened.

“Small but tasty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013 via mobile

Had an impromptu lunch here whilst on a visit to Brighton. Had no idea about its reputation. Really different tapas style food, imaginative and delicious. Good service, too. Recommended.

“Small and perfectly formed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

We popped in for a quick pre concert dinner. The menu was really interesting and the fact that we could pick about 5 dishes between us meant we got to enjoy everything that took our fancy.
The only downside was that we were sat by the door on a cold night...brrrr. It will not stop us going back though.
