I really wanted to like this place, especially as it's just a few doors down from where I live, but unfortunately I wasn't all that impressed. I've eaten here three times now and the various dishes and drinks I tried have ranged from average to pretty tasty, but everything has been quite surprisingly expensive
They serve some interesting beers here though, and the staff are very nice.
I would have rated this place higher had it not been for having, three times, paid over the odds for food that just wasn't especially noteworthy.
For me the other problem is the music. It seems as though they are trying to attract a different crowd to the one they're getting. One of the reviewers on here mentioned that the New Club is the hippest new place in town, which it isn't. When I've been here the other customers have generally seemed like pleasant middle-aged family types, with one or two younger people as well as one or two older people. I have nothing against the actual music they play, in fact I even have some of it in my own collection, but it just doesn't suit the place or the crowd. They ought to play something mellower, - a bit less stressful while eating.
Anyway, it's in a great location with a lovely view and with a bit more attention to flavour in the food as well as the cost and their choice of music, it could be lovely.

Thank you for review. We are more expensive than some local restaurants, but we do use top quality local ingredients, for example 35 day aged Longhorn and Black Angus beef in our burgers, and we mince our own meat on site. Furthermore, everything is made from scratch. If you compare our pricing with similar businesses, you'll find that we are actually extremely competitive, with an average spend of £10.

As for the music, we're not trying to attract any particular crowd. We want our restaurant to be inclusive - we have high chairs and baby changing, and are also building a wheelchair ramp once the scaffolding is out of the way. In the evenings we turn the lights down and the music up, and the crowd does change, but and we've had many positive comments about the music from people of all different ages and backgrounds.
Our chef Tom's playlist can be quite heavy duty. We'll tell him off..
Thank you for coming back to our restaurant. We hope to see you again.
