It's not the first time I have eaten thai food. Therefore I have other Thai Restaurants to compare it to plus I have spent a couple of weeks in Thailand trying different dishes and I have cooked it myself, so you see not a stranger to the cuisine.
On appearance it's not the best looking thai restaurant but I wasn't there for the decor. The owner was a very friendly English guy and made us most welcome. The service was good and we did not have to wait long for each course. I had fish cakes and my husband had ribs and we shared. The ribs were cold but the flavour was excellent and the fish cakes were average (maybe because I think mine were better).
The Pad Thai with squid was first class and the best I have had for some time so that get's a 10/10
The duck curry was also very tasty. The sizzling prawns were over priced and not that good as there were some chopped asparagus underneath and the woody part was on the plate which is not a nice experience and the prawns themselves were not that good.
There were a few errors made by the waitress but she was sweet and very apologetic which was fine.
All in all I found it Average.
