“♥♥♥ Troll's pantry ♥♥♥”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2013

I introduced many people to Troll's pantry before it moved into a pub style catering and everyone simply loves the burgers.
I agree with the points some people make about not having chips with the burger, though to be honest - the chips you get in the pub in Hove are not actually amazing (the burgers make up for it).
I often go to the friday street market for lunch - nice and central :-)

“Sorry I don't believe I ordered a plate of fat?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013 via mobile

This relates to the Trolls pantry in the Brunswick. Having read good things about it decided to give the Sunday roast a try. Totally disappointing 'slow cooked brisket' which was essential a mound of fat with hardly meat. £9.95 "introduction price" are they having a laugh? 3 tiny potatoes, some overlooked broccoli and a spoon of pumpkin mash. When the flats were cleared advised the girl it was all fat and no meat...Reponse was 'oh right'

Not going to be maintaining customer business based on that! #shoddy

“Delicious but overhyped”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

While Troll's pantry burgers are delicious and unusual, i though they were a bit over priced.
You pay for and get a burger, nothing else, so ended up getting some chips afterward as i was still hungry.
The price would be fine if they included something else with it, but it doesn't.
So go if they have their occasional bogof deals on, but otherwise i wouldn't bother.

“Best Burger we've ever had!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

OMG.. we found this on another website and have been following The Trolls Pantry on facebook and looking forward to finding it in the Hobgoblin when we visited Brighton.
We were NOT dissapointed, we both had the Smoky mountain burger with a side between us of saute potatoes.. it was divine!.. they make their own buns which is perfect for the burger, the right size and the consistency to stay together throughout the eating process of the burger instead of the commercial buns that collapse instantly.
the taste was absolutely fantastic.. so good that we had to go over to the lady cooking them and tell her how good they were (we don't do that very often but fetl the need to give some positive comments face to face).. and enjoyed it so much we came back the next day for another one!.. if we lived in Brighton we'd be there every week and twice our size I'm sure but VERY VERY Happy. would recommend this to EVERYONE you have to try this, the Hobgoblin itself is a bit of a trek to get to but the beer garden and the troll pantry area is well worth it.
