This is such a stylish boutique b&b, with really friendly staff. Fab little cocktail bar on the ground floor. Breakfast are amazing, light blueberry pancakes with creme Fraiche, maple syrup and bacon filled us up for the days mooching and pampering. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Room Tip: Room 1 was gorgeous bathroom small but very adequate

My family and I took over the Neo Hotel in January for a surprise 40th birthday party for my sister. It was a fantastic experience helped every bit by the wonderful Neo staff. The party rooms (the dining room and bar) were very stylish and great for a winter gathering. The food was delicious too. We had a very flexible dinner menu to choose from and the team were so accommodating of the birthday girl's wheat intolerance. They bent over backwards to help arrange every detail, including a gorgeous wheat free chocolate cake.

We all stayed in the rooms which were beautifully done. Some of the rooms are very small, but all very lovely.

I absolutely loved the breakfast. They served blueberry pancakes with creme fraiche, bacon and maple syrup.

The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful and personal service. I'm really looking forward to another getaway there.

Room Tip: I stayed in one of the pricier rooms - Room 2 - and glad I did. A huge bed and beautiful decor. Much...

We stayed this summer a weekend in the Neo. A couple of very positives to start with: personnel was very friendly, breakfast was delicious and location is good. However the size of the room was tiny, although it was supposed to be one of the larger ones. I had called upfront to discuss if we could fit in 2 baby cots, as we have twins of 3 years old. They should have been very clear that the size of the room would be already a bit of a challenge for 2 people, but absolutely impossible to hold 2 additional baby cots. Next to that the room was very noisy and there was a strong smell of food, probably coming fom the kitchen. All in all it was a laugh to try and stay here with 4, but even if I would have been with my husband i would find it expensive, not really offering value for money

Firstly I would like to apologise that you were not given accurate information about the room - I pride myself in knowing that the staff are selling and describing our rooms correctly and if this has not been happening you can be assured it is now being addressed for future guests.
We are a Grade II listed property and our rooms reflect this - they each vary in size and proportions, and decoration; I like to think of this as one of our main appeals but it does also rely on accurate communication throughout the booking process.
I can also only apologise for the volume of other guests and for street noise - we are centrally located and this tends to mean that especially in peak season the area can be noisy - Brighton is full to the brim with visitors during the summer months. There are hotels further out of town and more modern buildings that can compensate for these facts more so than our Georgian property.
Finally I am very glad to hear you were please with the service and the breakfast - these are of course the factors for which we are most responsible and it is good to hear we are doing our job properly. As our kitchen is in the basement of the property, the smell of freshly cooked breakfast does tend to permeate the hotel of a morning, most guests tend to compliment this fact but it is of course up to presonal taste.
I can only hope you enjoyed Brighton and may see fit to visit again soon.

me and my wife stayed here for two nights and enjoyed it very much. the room a massive bath and a large shower which both had luxery soaps. the location was very good we had lunch at jamie olivers place just round the corner and walked in to brighton lanes for the night times (10 min walk )
breakfast was one of the best i have had 5 star. the only problem was in the morning the road outside is a rat run for traffic and lorries were crashing down there ! may wife had a great time in the treatment room and the staff were top class. any questions just let me know

It was always going to be a tough gig. Two ex Brightonians returning for a mid week break. We were impressed with Neo and felt looked after. The hotel was stylish, comfortable and had a wow factor in it's understated way. Slightly shabby in parts (all that black paint can get a bit chipped) it rather added to the charm and chic.

We stayed in Room 4 (we were upgraded) and it was perfect. Cosy with a sea view and the wonderful B*lchers cafe still thriving (a real local landmark). A large comfy bed, rather daring dark mulberry and black colours that worked balanced with white bedding. A little bath too which was welcome.

Part of our enjoyment was the staff and the breakfasts. Firstly the room is just right. Lots of great art-work and space between tables. And busy Brighton getting on with it under your nose.

We had the wakeup pot followed by the Seaside English for himself and the Blueberry pancakes with creme fraiche, maple syrup and bacon for me with a fresh smoothie and coffee. We rolled out of there! If I was being at all picky, I'd have preferred a linen napkin to a paper one and fresh orange juice but really it was perfect.

We'd love to come and stay again and would certainly highly recommend it to anyone that wanted to stay somewhere nice, right in the centre of Brighton, but quiet as well.

Room Tip: Think about your requirements. Quiet or space or is a bath important?

We stayed in room 7 for a weekend. It's a smallish room and the only one without an ensuite, but it meant more money to spend on Brighton fun!

The Neo is in a great location near the sea and walking distance to both Brighton and Hove. We used to live in Brighton and so the Neo was a perfect to base to make us feel as though we were back at home again. The breakfasts were excellent, the beds welcoming and the staff helpful.

We loved our room - which was beautifully decorated and with a large, great bed - the bathroom and the large tub. The room was very clean, no noise and the breakfast was excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful and the location of the hotel: close to the seafront, yet in a nice, quiet street, was perfect. Would definitely recommend it and go back if in Brighton again.
